what a disapointment
The company I work for arranges our accomidations, When I found out I was to book in here at the Canadian Lodge in Valemont BC for 10 days i Called ahead to see what the room had. I was told it had a micro and fridge. upon check in I found out that the room did not have either of those. there was no appology for not having the room I had called for the week earlier, the room was small, air conditioner worked some times,my bed sheets had stains on them and were never changed in the 10 days that i was forced to stay here, and on the 7 day there was no maid srevice. I was told it was thier day off!! The best thing was that we ( 50 men that I work with all stayhing at the hotel) all work nights and on one day when we were trying to sleep there was a construction project going on in the hall way, they were nailing up trim on the wall. try to sleep while some one is hammering right at your door. the whole crew was disapointed and does not recomend this hotel to any one. The worst thign was the indifference of the managment and staff. Oh one last thing no cont. breakfast!!! many other hotles in Valemont offer that at no charge.
