After attending the Penticton Peach City Cruise In and booking for 2010 Cruise, we were advised that a increase would apply in the form of $50.00 more on an already over priced room. This basically is a one star facility at a five star price point.
Although the units have improved from a cleanliness point, the fact remains that these rooms are no where close to the price that is being charged. I can understand that during a major summer show that maybe a slight increase in cost is warrented but this motel has gone far beyond what is reasonable.
In addition other folks who mistakenly booked for the 2010 cruise and later decided to cancel and go elsewhere were advised that $25.00 would be charged to cancel their reservation. Is this treatment CUSTOMER DRIVEN?? I think not.
In short, if you want to pay a five star price for a one star motel, this is the place to go.
